If you are playing guitar for quite a long time and wants to incline yourself academically, you can start by getting a certificate in guitar graded exams. Using the materials below, you don't have to be really good and fast in sight-reading notes. There are TABS in book Grades 06-08 Acoustic Guitar. But for the scales and arpeggios book, they don't have it. In my videos, I created TABS and fretboard illustrations for the scales and arpeggios. If you are doing a self-study for the exam preparation, this website information is perfect for you.
For scales and arpeggios, it has two groups which you can select one.
In Trinity, you can actually jump and take Grade 8 without any previous graded performance in the past. You can also take the exams online or by going to the Trinity Centre branch near to you.
